Doughnuts
Breads & Breakfast
- 4 Eggs
- 1-1/2 c Sugar
- 1/2 c Cream
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1 1/2 c Buttermilk
- 4 c Flour
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Beat together eggs, sugar, cream, salt, nutmeg and vanilla. Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Add to other ingredients. Mix in flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Drop with doughnut maker in hot fat. Enjoy!
