Crock Pot Dressing

  • 1 c Butter
  • 2 c Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 c Celery (Chopped)
  • 1/4 c Parsley Sprigs
  • 2 (4 oz) can Sliced Mushrooms (Drained)
  • 12-13 c Dry Bread Cubes
  • 1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1-1/2 tsp Sage
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Marjoram
  • 2 c Chicken Broth (Maybe 2-1/2 cups)
  • 2 Eggs (Beaten)
  1. Melt butter and saute onion, celery, parsley and mushrooms. Pour over bread cubes. Add all seasonings and toss well. Pour enough broth to moisten. Add eggs, mix well. Pack lightly in crock pot. Cover. Cook on high 45 minutes. Reduce to low 4-8 hours.
